Frequently asked questions
I am currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. I am working to be paneled with Cigna and United Healthcare Optum. If needed, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits.
Not typically, please reach out directly by completing the "contact me" form.
The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here, what you’d like to work on, and how therapy can best support you moving forward.
Absolutely. What you share in sessions stays private, unless there are serious concerns about your safety, the safety of others, or if I get subponeoed by a judge. You can view my HIPAA policy here:
Sessions run for about 53 minutes. The frequency of appointments can be weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed — we’ll decide together based on your goals.
Finding the right therapist is important. I always say, let's give it 3 sessions to see if we connect well. If not, I’m happy to recommend other professionals who might suit your needs.
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, as this time is set aside just for you. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
If you’re in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. You can also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Virtual therapy is important support, but it is not a substitute for emergency care.
I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, trauma, and life transitions. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, we can work together at a pace that feels manageable and tailored to your needs.
Sessions are held securely online through a private telehealth platform. You’ll just need a quiet place, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone. I’ll help make the process feel simple and comfortable from the start.
